Industrial Works is a Mid-Size Diversified Metals Fabrication Company located in Green Bay, WI that is experiencing growth. We are looking for a full-time Field Service Welder-Fitter. We distinguish ourselves in the marketplace by our proven advantage of Manufacturing Excellence, Project Management, On Time Delivery, and Superior Customer Service. Field Service crews are involved in comprehensive industrial and mechanical projects including installation, maintenance, and repair of stainless-steel food and dairy equipment. Installation projects require up to 50% travel with stays varying from 1 – 10 nights, with the occasional emergency projects, and receive a per diem for all overnight stays. Each field crew member is on a rotating on-call schedule, frequency of on-call is based on the size of the crew. Experience is preferred however we offer training to those with limited experience. We incorporate growth through merit-based advancement. Travel and lodging is arranged and paid for by the company. This position has the potential to earn up to $119,000 annually plus benefits.

Field Service Welder-Fitter

Location: Green Bay, WI

Wage: $17 – $38.18 Varies based on skill set and experience.

Shift: 1st – 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. plus travel.

Job Type: Full-Time

The essential job functions include:

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Minimum 1-year TIG welding experience
  • Ability to pass a measuring and basic fabricating written test
  • Willing to travel
  • Positive Attitude
  • Rotating on call schedule
  • Accept other duties as assigned

This position is very active and requires a high level of motivation, dependability, and reliability.  A strong willingness to learn new processes as they arise. Effective communication both written and verbal critical to this position.
